Von Juni bis September 2007 findet am Stuttgarter Nordbahnhof ein künstlerisches Großprojekt statt, in das Architekten, Bühnenbildner, Kosümbildner,Regisseure, Schauspieler, Maler, Bildhauer und das Liebidow Büro International eingebunden sind: Als studentische Abschlussarbeit wird Kleists Herrmannschlacht von 20 August bis 10 September in zeitgenössischem Kontext aufgeführt. Aussen herum finden Symposien, eine Ausstellung und viele schöne Arbeitstreffen statt. So hat sich das Büro International mit seinen Studios inmitten des Künstlerdorfes Teutoburg installiert, von wo es in unregelmäßigen Abständen Nachrichten produziert und sendet.

from june til september 2007 there is a huge art project happening including architects, stage and costume designers, actors,painters, sculptors and also the Liebidow Büro International as the media part. As a final student project there will be a theater play of Kleists Herrmannschlacht in a contemporary art context. Around the theater production there are exhibitions , lectures and a lot of work meetings. Our TV station is installed within the exhibition producing videos with the actors and broadcasting a news show once in a while.

wir lernen viele interessante Künstler kennen die vollen Einsatz geben zur Herstellung lustiger Videos und auch vor Schmutz und Bier nicht scheuen. Wir diskutieren auf unseren Symposien Ideen zur temporören Umnutzung von öffentlichem Raum, was ja auch ein Anliegen des Büro International ist. Diese Frage scheint generell gerade viele kreativ arbeitende Menschen umzutreiben, jedenfalls sehen wir kurz nach dem Symposium einen Zeitungsartikel in dem ein junges Stuttgarter Architekturbüro doch tatsächlich mit unseren Ideen hausieren geht. Wahnsinn.

We get to know a lot of interesting artists who pay a lot of effort to some video production with the use of beer and mud. on our public meetings we discuss our ideas for the temporary use of public space which is also an important point for our büro. this question seems to be very much in discussion for a lot of creative working people. some architects stole our ideas and published them in the newspaper.
